How does the Pokémon Go evolution calculator work?
First you choose the Pokémon you want to evolve, and then you type In the Pokémon’s CP and press Evolve. Below it will show you the evolved form of the Pokémon with the minimum, average, and maximum CP for that evolution. Why do we need to know all this criteria? First of all, to predict if you should evolve your current Pokémon or wait till you get a better CP same Pokémon to get a higher CP final evolution. This way you can save valuable Pokémon candies that you take lots of time collecting for stronger evolutions, thus ending up with stronger Pokémon for easier wins in pokegyms. It’s important to evolve your strongest Pokémon and not waste candies on Pokémon Go evolutions that will turn out weaker than your top battling Pokémon. This is, because you might find a stronger Pokémon tomorrow and you already wasted the 25 or 50 candies that you will need for the Pokémon’s evolution. So with the Pokémon Evolution calculator you can predict the final CP of your to-be evolved Pokémon and see if it’s worth using the Pokémon candies.

Let’s demonstrate on an Eevee evolution. For example, if your Eevee was 600 CP, using the PokEvolver's Pokémon Go Evolution calculator, we get these results:

Having done its evolution we can see that Eevee can evolve into three different Pokémon: Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon. Vaporeon is the strongest one out of the three Pokémon and Jolteon is the weakest. So the average CP of Vaporeon is 1611, the average of Jolteon is 1230 and the Average of Flareon is 1488. If you’re lucky you’ll end up with a Vaporeon, with its strength also depending on its move set. Having a strong Vaporeon is a dream for many Pokémon go players.
